Where can I find the PECR module? 1 Year, 2 Months ago

Hello. I've seen the demo and this seems to be very good work, so I tried to install the Photoblog in a news site, based on SolarSentinel by RocketTheme. The installation finishes OK but I don't see any directories created anywere and when I add images they don't show up in the front end. I am running the site localy using WAMP5 and when I view the configuration I can't find a PECR module installed. Could this be the source of my problem and if so, where can I find this module?

Hey, the PECR module is only used for the folder and filename validation. So when you don't get an error by creating a category or blog, that shouldn't be the problem.
The images were just shown, when you have added an image. So you first have to create a category, a blog, then click on the "Link"-text (stack column) at the blog management, in the following window (stack management) you have to create a new stack and add your images...
Now, when the category, blog and stack is set to published, the component should work...
Hopefully this helps!

Actually this is my problem. I get all sort of "file" or "folder" validation errors, and so far it hasn't been able to see any thumbs or pics. Thanks for your help.

what kind of error do you get exactly? It's possible that you post a screenshot?
Maybe it just fails the validation... The following things are important for filenames and folders:
- Value must have at least 2 chars
- Have to begin with a charakter (a-z)
- The value could contain Charakters, Numbers and hyphen (-)
If this not work, I check out, how you can testing, if the pecr module is installed....

I see, I did a failure, the module is not called PECR, it's called PCRE and you can check this in your php info or in joomla under help -> system info -> php information!
sorry for that
